BOOK PROGRAMMES

Do not hand everybody a book and call it a programme.

The book can begin a conversation. A TAIU book programme gives the room somewhere to take it.

What a programme can include

BOOKS

Copies of The Alternative Is Unthinkable in the format and quantity agreed for the group. Hardback, paperback and Kindle availability depends on the country and retailer. Direct digital and audiobook editions are also available.

AN OPENING TALK

Mark introduces the central question and the Tree without turning the book into a set of rules.

A READING PATH

The group can read the whole book or follow selected chapters around one subject. Nobody is tested on it.

A LIVE CONVERSATION OR WORKSHOP

The room returns to what it noticed, what it resisted and what may deserve a closer look.

FOLLOW-UP

Agreed questions, short videos or another live session can keep the conversation going.

THE FREE CLEARING

Anyone may Ask Alto, use My Tree, write in the Journal or choose a session or workshop privately. An account belongs to the person, not the organisation.

Ways to use it

ONE ROOM

Books and one live talk or conversation for an event, leadership gathering or community.

A SHORT SERIES

Reading and live sessions spread across several weeks so the group has time to notice what changes between them.

A PROGRAMME SHAPED AROUND ONE SUBJECT

Selected chapters, a keynote, a workshop and follow-up built around a question the organisation is already facing.

One book. Different ways to get it.

Check which editions and retailer links are available where the group is based. A format is only shown for a country once its listing has been confirmed.

For large or mixed-country orders, ask for the countries and quantities in the enquiry.

Reading together does not make private writing communal.

The organisation does not receive Ask Alto conversations, Journal entries, My Tree content or the answers people write during a workshop.
