Three pieces of work. Different on the surface. Each asks what is missing between a good idea and something that works in real life.
TAIU
The Alternative Is Unthinkable
TAIU began as a book about the choices people keep carrying because the two answers in front of them do not feel right.
The work now includes the free Clearing, Ask Alto, My Tree, the Journal and a catalogue of sessions and workshops.
It does not tell somebody to change. It helps them look at the whole life around the choice and find what else may be possible.
UKIZ
UK Innovation Zones
Britain does not lack ideas. Too many good ones fail to become lasting businesses because universities, founders, industry, investors and government are expected to join the gaps themselves.
UKIZ is an independent national proposal for connecting those parts properly. It is not a government programme or an endorsed policy.
MÉTODO
Design has to survive delivery.
Método brings complex interiors, design, sourcing and delivery together with commercial discipline.
The work is about making the finished space live up to the original idea without pretending the difficult parts happen by magic.
