The Alternative Is Unthinkable

Mark Eve

For years the phrase meant one thing to me: keep going when the obvious answer was no. Later I noticed it works the other way round as well. The conviction that keeps you going can also close a door quietly, and whatever you have decided is unthinkable is usually the thing worth looking at.

The book is about the questions people carry around and rarely get asked. What enough looks like. What a decision is really costing. What you have stopped allowing yourself to want. It is written from meeting people rather than from a theory of how a life should go, and it does not end with a plan you are supposed to follow.

TAIU came out of the same thinking. The book explains it; TAIU is where you can actually use it. You do not need to read one to use the other.

The book is not published yet. There is no date, no publisher and nothing to buy on this page. When there is something to say, it will be said here.
